How to measure your bra band/back size

Before you start make sure that you are either wearing a non-padded bra or no bra at all. Using a tape measure, measure in inches around your rib cage directly under your bust and below the underwire of the bra. If you find that your measurement is between sizes then you need to round down the size, for example if you measure 30 1/2 inches then round down to 30 inches.

If your measurement is an even number - add 4 inches

If your measurement is an odd number - add 5 inches

This will calculate your band/back size. For example, if your band/back measures at 30 inches you will add 4 inches which would make you a 34.

How to measure your cup size

Measure around the fullest part of your bust in inches ensuring that the tape measure is tight but not over stretched. When measuring your cup size you should always round up, so if you measure 34 ½ inches then round up to 35 inches. The number of inches difference between your band/back measurement and cup measurement will equal what cup size you are. Every inch difference equals one cup size up. For example:

Band size 34 inches and fullest part of bust 34 inches = A Cup

Band size 34 inches and fullest part of bust 35 inches = B Cup

Band size 34 inches and fullest part of bust 36 inches = C Cup
